Our project management office is looking for an additional team member (m/f/d) as

Remote Revenue & Pricing Manager (m/f/d)

This newly created role directly reports into our Advisor to the General Manager and is part of our project management office. Our PMO has several specialist functions that lead change, process management & project management on both operational and strategic level to drive our short & long- term objectives across departments.

This role enables you to work cross functionally along with Procurement, Marketing, Sales or Controlling to enhance our bottom line via Pricing (Strategy), Business Modelling & Automatization.

Essentially you will be in charge of both Dynamic Pricing on our Digital Marketplaces and across our three different business models (B2B contract, B2B Wholesale, B2B Online/Digital Marketplaces) & lead the way for a both profitable and customer-centric approach while aligning the needs of both our internal and external customers. Your role influences Channel & Segment Pricing and the recommended price for both Germany & Austria.

You (m/f/d) create value by identifying each source of profit or cost to enhance our (profitable) market share. Be it indirect or direct cost, processual cost or cash – you analyse everything until you find the best Balance between Margin & Market Share.

Your tasks:

  • Sales Controlling / Supervision: Monitoring and Controlling of Channel & Segment Pricing and of the recommended price in Germany, Austria and for all marketplaces
  • Digitalization & Automatization and set-up of dynamic pricing models in online marketplaces (i.e. Amazon B2B or Mercateo) in order to drive profitable market share. E.g. implementation of price crawlers etc.
  • Development & set-up of our pricing strategies: continuous improvement of margin, turnover and market penetration,
  • Optimization of product, service and service offer by business modelling
  • Successful E2E collaboration with all departments in regards to pricing

Your profile:

  • Either completed business studies or relevant apprenticeship & professional training in the relevant job field
  • In-depth job experience in Pricing, ideally in Online Shops, digital marketplaces
  • Digital savvy with a conceptual understanding of Business Intelligence Tools & databases in order to control/execute databased learnings them alongside with internal & external stakeholders
  • Great knowledge in Excel, Pivot/Vlookup and ideally Power BI
  • Fluent Englisch (C1+) and German is strongly preferred, but not a must (B1+)
  • Ambitious and assertive character & teamplayer (m/f/d) that is tech savvy, business-oriented & resilient and able to negotiate and present on top management level
  • Ideally vast Dynamic Pricing experience in a high volume (SKU), low margin business (ideally Wholesale) with experience in pricing bots
  • Willingness to travel across Germany (20% on average per week)
